Please read on for all the information you need to know about our school's celebration of Halloween!Ā Thank you for your cooperation.Ā We are looking forward to a safe, fun, &Ā spookyĀ day at school.

For any student who does not celebrateĀ Halloween, there is an alternative activity planned for the afternoon. Please useĀ this formĀ to note that you would like your child to participate in the alternative activity.

COSTUME RULES

1.Ā Avoid violent or bloody images. It is okay to look "scary," but there is a difference between frightening and gruesome.
2.Ā Students should bring their costumes in a bag labeled with their name. Eye and face masks are acceptable (make sure that vision is not impaired). Makeup should be minimal and applied at home.Ā *Remember--learning will still be taking place. So, your child will not change into their costume/mask until 12:30-12:45PM.
3. Please make sure that your child's costume hasĀ nothing hanging below the ankle. Tripping and/or getting materials caught is a major concern.
4. Props (if any) must be manageable, particularly if students ride a bus.
5.Ā Weapons of any kind are not permitted.
6. Remember that students scheduled for Physical Education on the 31st will still have class. Athletic footwear should still be worn.

šŸŽƒ HALLOWEEN PARADE šŸŽƒ

A group of children in Halloween costumes stand together, smiling.
The High School Marching Band will lead the way from Rush School up Wynwood Drive to the Wynwood Rehabilitation Center next to the Merion, then back down to Rush School again.

We ask that families coming to watch the parade remain off of the school property and line the sides of Wynwood Drive. Waving, cheering and quick pictures are welcome but we ask that you do not call your child out of the parade line.

The side streets off of Wynwood Drive can be narrow so we ask that you only park on the side of the street permitted by the signs that the Cinnaminson Police Department will post. This will still allow for emergency vehicles to access the neighboring areas. There is no parking on Wynwood for visitors.

Once the parade is over, only designated room helpers will be allowed into the building for the class parties.

šŸ‚ ALTERNATIVE ACTIVITY ON 10/31 šŸ‚

For any student who does not celebrate Halloween, there is a fun alternative activity planned for the afternoon. Please useĀ the form belowĀ to note that you would like your child to participate in the alternative activity.

If you would prefer to pick your child up for dismissal, please alert the office by completingĀ the formĀ belowĀ and be sure to come at 12:30pm so it is counted as a full day.

LOST & FOUND

The pile keeps growing! Please encourage your child to take a look at our Lost & Found collection to look for items of clothing, water bottles, or various items that they might be missing.
Parents and guardians are also welcome to stop by to take a look!

NOTE: UNCLAIMED CLOTHING WILL BE DONATED TO GOODWILL ON 10/31/25. UNCLAIMED LUNCH BOXES AND WATER BOTTLES WILL BE THROWN AWAY ON 10/31/25.

We strongly recommend labeling your child's clothing, water bottles, and valuables with their name or initials as it helps us return lost items to their owners!

The Cinnaminson Elementary Home & School Association (CEHASA) is dedicated to enhancing the environment in our schools. Every parent/guardian is a member of the association.
