Hello! My name is Forrest Harding. This is my seventh year as a teacher and my sixth co-teaching with Ms. Sweet. We are very excited to be teaching Math, Literacy, Social Studies, and Science together this year. You may have heard that Harding/Sweet can't be beat, and that’s true.
Before becoming an educator, I worked for several years in television and film production. You may have seen some of my work on the Sprout network – “The Chica Show,” "Sunny Side Up," and "Ruff-Ruff, Tweet, & Dave,” to name a few.
After years of entertaining children, it became my passion to help educate them. I completed my student teaching at Rush School and was fortunate enough to begin teaching fifth grade when my student teaching was done.
I live in Cherry Hill with my wife, New Albany’s music teacher Colleen Harding, our two kids, Dylan and Sara, and our dog Luna. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, hiking, and playing music (I play guitar and ukulele).
Another fun fact - I was a waiter at Don Henley's (from the band The Eagles) wedding. I may be the only fifth grade teacher who has given Sting directions to the restroom.
