School Counseling

 

Rush has 2 school counselors: Mrs. Forcier & Ms. Steffey.

 

Mrs. Forcier primarily works with students whose last names begin with A-K, while Ms. Steffey primarily works with students whose last names begin with L-Z. However, students are welcome to see and work with either counselor. 

Additionally, Mrs. Forcier serves as Rush's Anti-Bullying Coordinator and Ms. Steffey is Rush's I&RS (Intervention & Referral Services) & Section 504 team lead.

 

Both counselors work with individuals and small groups, as well as lead lessons, run conflict resolutions, and help connect families with support systems.
